DC5 replacement

That statement has just instantly put me off getting my licence (been thinking about it for a while). Thinking that it's the other idiots on the road causing a massive chunk of the bad rep biking gets is enough. Damn shame :(

don't let that put you off... as much as I'm not dissing biker in question, there is almost no excuse to be mown down at a junction if your paying attention. (of course freak accidents happen though)

most bikers don't think of the 'what ifs' when riding, if you assume everyone hasn't seen you and plan ahead assuming they are not seeing you, 'touch wood' you don't get knocked off...

people die everyday on roads whatever they are using.. bike is only as dangerous as you want it to be.

Dunno if its already been mentioned but:-

maybe a little over budget but it ticks the other boxes.

^^ It has been mentioned mate but only in Honda code :D

thats an FD2, which when specced up by Mugen becomes the mighty (although not to everyone's tastes) Mugen RR ;)

I personally think they are fairly ugly, and would choose a DC5 anyday. But that doesn't mean to say it isn't an awesome car, cuz it is.

I like the fugly factor, plus hardly anyone who isnt a Honda fan in the UK would know what it is.

true, but you'd also be surprised how few people know what an Integra is...

You have to say, "you know that orange car sponsored by Halfords in the BTCC" - and even then you get blank looks :D

BTCC - wassat? :p

I know what you mean, most people are oblivious to Honda's offerings. I had an EG6 VTi a few years ago and the silly bint of an office manager at my work asked my why I had bought a slow grandads car, and that her hubbeys 1.8 Audi A4 would be faster.

Ah the Honda NSX. Like a Nissan 300ZX only 100 times more expensive and about as dated to look at it.

What a bizzare comment, the NSX is nothing like the 300ZX, apart from the fact that it's a Japanese coupe.

The NSX is a prince among jap cars, its up on the podium in my eyes with the R34 GTR V-Spec II :)

and yeah, the Yen is shafting a lot of people right now :( - well, its not actually the Yen's fault the blame lies with the GBP :(

I'm with Drexel on this, Fox what a stupid comment the NSX was developed by Honda and the late great Ayrton Senna and can still give modern supercars a run for their money it in no way resembles a 300ZX

All is good though surely? I mean the world economies are screwed and oil prices have tumbled. But who cares about that! I get 5p off a litre of fuel!

Japanese imports have suddenly become VERY expensive.

Damn Yen. 141 to £, used to be about 220!

Aye, these are extraordinary times.

I've got money for a toy but I'm genuinely frightened to spend it with my fixed term mortgage expiring soon & Mrs' job in recruitment looking a bit touch and go.

I bet your S2K is worth about £6.25 now. :(

Despite being gutted about having to sell it, I'm kind of glad I've got rid of the Skyline before it becomes worth about 36p :(

I'm astonished you sold that so quickly and at a good price too.

Same here, it took literally 3 hours :/

I had a huge amount of interest from places like Swedon, France etc too. One guy in France actually offered me more than my asking price when I told him I had more or less already sold it...

To say I was surprised to sell it that quick is a huge understatement. I suppose the high price of importing has driven demand up for cars that are already over here.
