Dead Rising

Top man, thank you very much. Grabbed an uzi and a few handguns off some cop zombies to help. I was hiding behind the pillars where Carlito and Brad were having a firefight. Ran out of ammo on the Uzi quick, but the handguns finished him off.

The game is already getting on my nerves for sheer frustration factor alone.

I hid behind the pillars and moved up and got behind him then used the hand chainsaws (Ones from the clown) to kill him. Only took a few slashes.

Oh that one, didn't find that as hard. I just zig-zaged up the stairs the dodge his fire and hit him a few times with the chainsaw.

:)

can i just reiterate, go to the gunshop ASAP , once you have the guns the games a breeze, on the carlito fight part 2, where he has a sniper, i just sniped him back ;)

ive now done all the case files and im awaiting my chopper, i heard there are multiple different endings though

Where's the gunshop?
Apparently somewhere in the North Plaza I'm told. I've just taken out Steven aka The Butcher so I'm taking a break. Isabella is hawt!

If you want to get around easily just tool up the guys u rescue, i had one with a shotgun, one with an smg and 1 with a pistol. The freindly AI get infinite ammo so my little group decimated the zombies that got in our way :))

I like the way the Save system makes the game more scarey and tense(having to find safety and fight your way there). What i hate is the inability to save multiple times. Ive already had to restart once, because of a mistake i made :/

Another annoying thing is the way friendlies can hit each other, which makes the game frustrating when you kill someone your trying to save or a freindly kills you, just when your about to complete a mission.

The single save game system(2 if you have a mem card) and AI getting caught up in the scenery nearly ruin this really quite excellent game.

ive died loads of times and had to go from last save point was a bit frustrating. How do u tool up ya guys? one had a baseball bat and the other 3 i had got killed as i was literally yards away from saving them!

walk up to your freindly and you will get an option to give whats in your hand, whether its a weapon or food to heal them.

Damn this game, is there no safe place to leave them?

From what I gather I've got to go the LONG way round to get to the secruity room, which means dealing with the damn convicts again, why did they respawn?

Managed to save in the gym again on my way back, I left the survivors in another room, died, reloaded and the damn mall is litterally wall to wall with zombies. For some reason the survivors are trying to run to me and dieing in the process!

I think i'm just gonna have to let them die, it's damn near impossible.

I tried to bring my guys into the gym(which would have been safe) but they could only enter through the automatic door, which only opens to the player and the door closes real quick if i try to open it for them. They wouldnt even come through the damn windows :/ .

Superb game, but it is frustrating, when you are used to saving any time anywhere.

when you go to get the key be careful

lol during one mission i broke me car and got stuck in the maintence tunnels, with the sheer amount of zombies it was a task fighting out (i was halfway through a mission)

2 shotguns a pistol, an uzi, a sniper, an a MG later, i just escaped lol

This game is awesome, ordered it at 5pm yesterday from shopto, the posty brought it this morning :D

The only thing I would say about it is that ive noticed a lot of tearing (this is something I dont usually notice in games). It may be because im on VGA at a 17" screens native res though?

This game is awesome, can't put it down.

I'm running at 1080i over component on my 32" LCD and I haven't noticed any tearing at all. I get some with Saints Row but Dead Rising has to be one of the best looking, smoothest 360 games I've played so far.

What resolution are you displaying it at over your VGA?

I get tearing at the beginning of most cut scenes over VGA. But over component I get none at all so these something causing it when using a VGA cable.

I think people are judging this game too quickly, as i did, but i knew i would like it eventually! And im liking it a lot! Some of the achievements are well good!

Just got killed by carlito and his sniper but it didnt annoy me as its fun getting to that point again!

Thanks for the gun store advice, am going to go there later!
