once you have completed the 72 hours, if you have done all the case files, the helicopter crashes, leaving you and the spanish bird left, + you are infected

special forces storm the mall, which are awful to kil, and then you are left to go on a huge shoppin list, as you attempt to get things to stop you becoming a zombie,

TOP TIP - get a skateboard, and just launch past people who are shooting at you
 
Im having real problems with bosses like the guy in the supermarket, im on the medicine run(just managed to take down carlito again), which means i barely have time to get to and from the chemist let alone fight a boss. The bosses seem to out manouvre you, they shoot quickly and hardly ever miss, they can even shoot through cover, its taking the mickey. :/

stand on the top of an aisle, jump 3 ailses away,
shotgun him when he comes round the corner

repeat

i cant help you on the timelimit though
 
To kill the supermarket guy I just hid in the wine part until he came close then all you do is run out when he is pushing his trolley, get behind him and smack him with a sword, make sure to not let him charge at you though. If you get low health just run behind the cover in the wine part and have a drink!

Im at the bint on the bike at the moment.. Shes quite tricky :(

Get a load of guns and jump into that fountain bit near the supermarket (Here bike can't reach you unless she gets very lucky on the ramp). Shot at her when she stops. When she drives arrive jump out then as soon as you see her coming again jump back into the fountain and repeat.

When i finish 72 hour mode I can play through again but start at the level I finished on?

And how the hedk to you kill the guy in the gunshop?
He slaughted me when i went in!

yes you keep your level when you play through again

don't know about the guy in the gun shop as i can't kill him either lol

Don't listen to these wussys with gun tactics ;) Nip next door before you enter and get a Katana. Nip quickly into the end of the next aisle to where he is and when he gets to the top wait for him to come out to turn around to come down your ailse and bap him, you'll take a couple of hits but can finish him off with about 6 swipes :)

And to save time you should really do the Andy the Clown fight to open the short cut.
 
Defeated the clown last night. I used up all my melee items,and ended up killing him with a cash register :D His death sequence is sick! His chainsaws are also stupidly good, shame they don't last forever. The shortcut you get after that psyco helps avoid going outside, as for some insane reason though I spend ages trying to kill the convicts in the humvee, they have respawned!

Anyone know if there is another way to get survivors up to security without using the lift? They can't seem to navigate the way up the boxes and across the shelves of the warehouse so I have to bite the bullet and melee the million zombies in the lift.

Playing the demo, I thought this was going to be a slightly tounge in cheek game. But it does have the level of horror you'd expect in a zombie movie.

I've tried as well but they just won't follow me up the boxes either. I always now just grab the metal bar just near the lift and go into a frenzy.

There are some books around that lengthen the life of certain melee weapons including the mini chainsaw. You need to carry them round with you so you'll need to level up and get some extra inventory slots. I've one called Engineering but I believe there are a couple of others incl. Entertainment (so I've been told).
Also remember the mini chainsaw will respawn here so you can come back and get one before boss fights. (Thats what I plan on doing).

Atm I'm in a quandry. I've rescued 'The lovers' on day 2 and got them back to the toilets in Paradise Plaza but I'm late for a case event back at base. I've gotten as far as the top of the lift with them both but run out of time by seconds several times. Lol, going to try a couple more times but may have to sacrifice them.
 
Thanks for the advice, i wish i could save just before entering, so i can experiment without running across the mall everytime.
 
Once you recch the end of the 72 hours and you restart, do you have to redo all the case missions over again or does he restart you from wherever you were up to?

You have to restart. Your stats are saved though.
 
to kill the guy in the gunshop, take a pistol, and as many bottles of wine as you can carry

simply stand behind the stand up display thing and shoot him, occasionaly you will get caught,

oh and if he is reoloading and low on health just slice him with the ninja sword
 
I managed to kill Adam the Clown. It wasn't actually hard, I just used ordinary pistols. The trick is to hit him in the head, and pop the baloons as he blows them up. It doesn't do much damage but you can keep him away from you easily. I didn't suffer any damage at all doing it that way. As a bonus, on the second floor, is a group of security guard zombies, who carry guns to replenish your ammo when needed.

And a very handy shortcut in the toilets!
 
My PC has died, so I have been unable to post, currently using a laptop.

However... I LOVE the save system. Make more saves if it annoys you. Having the system is a great way to keep your statistics etc...
There is also zero tearing via component on my Plasma or via VGA on my monitor.

The only gripe I have is with the left stivck to aim. Chinging aim direction from player to camera helps loads though.
