Dead Rising

Well the only way I managed to beat kent was to avoid being late, by bombing it to the plazza without stopping on the way for the sledgehammer and baseball bat so that I got the on time normal cut scene. I only had a hunting knife but he died very quickly.

The next mission however, was INSANE. I was having no luck with the maintennce tunnels so I reloaded, stocked up so all my slots were orange juice except two, one for a katana and one for the shears.

By the end of the mission, I had to walk to two bombs as I totalled the truck and only escaped with nothing in my inventory left, and one bar of health :o

[Extreme spoiler]
I hear you can go back in to get a shot of Brad but I just pegged it back to the security station as quickly as I could!

What's the purpose of the trucks in the maintanence tunnels? I can open the rear door, but that's it.

For me, its so i can eventually get the ZOMBIE GENOCIDE achievement. The idea is this - you keep doing laps around the tunnels in any vehicules that are around (there are several parked up). You get a good 1500 kills each lap.

Yes you can. That's the snuff shot b achievement effort. Missed that a bit ago. Lucky i backup all my saves, else some of these achievements would be very hard to get with the syupid 1 save thing dead rising has :/

Yeah stocked up on the clown chainsaw and went back.

I think I'm at the end. Special forces have showed up but there's still 12 hours until I get picked up? It too dark to go out and do anything, so what am I to do? Just hole up?

If you've completed al of your cases i'd simply wait it out so you can get unlock overtime mode.

Overtime Mode
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Unveil all CASES and be at the heliport at noon.

With no-one to save I feel quite lonely. Cleaved my way back to the Northern Plaza and I'm sitting it out until a couple of hours before hand to grab the chopper :D Bit of a downer ending.

how do you back up your saves?

I've been having a better time since Lv12. Managed to rescue a lot of survivors and kill a few psychopaths which has now upped me to Lv20 (those cultists rock for PP). I'm finding new features while playing now - I've only just discovered I can do a jump kick :p :o

I think I may end up re-starting after the 72hrs ends because after rescuing Isabella from Steven, all my other cases have now become expired? Brad is injured and is recovering atm but thats it. I've no idea how the game will end but I'll continue right till the end.

I've seen a few vechiles, but I can't seem to use any of the trucks.

Only one is drivable. The rest are for the bomb collector mission aren't they?

The one that's driveable is in the top left next to the meat processing plant.

Atm I'm absolutey loving this game; in fact as I'd go as far as saying it's in my top 5, any format, ever, and that's saying something.

I'm near the end now (I think), I've finished all the case files, saved about 30 people (which I'm chuffed with) and having fun while I wait for the chopper. My guys up to level 37 now and I'll say it does get much easier once you have some extra health, speed, attack, slots etc.

I sat in the new hideout until it was time for the chopper. Eeery when every zombie is dead. Got ending A, but didn't carry on. Restarted to try and save everyone I can.

Love this game.

These a way to make those clown chainsaws last an eternity. You need the following three bookes; Criminal, Engineering and Entertainment.

It seems all three books cover the chainsaws. And when you put them together it works out as 3x3x3=27.

Aye, those chainsaws are the business. I've only got two of the books and they still last an eternity.
