My friend did this and said it's the easiest part of the game he's played yet many people seem to say it was difficult. He just shot him a few times and took his health-bar down.

Got a little worried about your friend saying it was easy till I read the rest of the sentence

I'll just have to persevere I guess. Send him a text or something and find out if he hit anywhere for me

i used the pillars as cover, running and hiding behind each one, while he took his shot, then running to the next one. worked my way round and up behind him then stuck the mini chainsaw up his...jumper

ok im stuck on a bit, case 2 i think, anyway, its where i get into the mall and the black guy sneeks up behind me and push's me behind a poster because we are been sniped, then he says stay out of danger etc, and he has a shooting match with the carllios (cant remember name) guy and the carllios always wins, i have tried fighting but a) i dont have a gun and b) everytime i step out of cover i get owned and die within seconds :s

i told you how to do it 3 post up lol

ok go up the stairs/escalator and you come face to face with carlito. run to the left, using the pillars as cover. work your way round behind him and attack him with a sword or knife

hmmm i didnt get any explosives thrown at me, he was ocupied by brad as i sneaked round behind him. have you tried shooting him with the sub machinegun ? that usually kills him pretty quick

i dont have any guns!! only weapon is stuff like baseball bat,shopping till etc

edit: i tried your method of sneaking up etc, doesnt work, soon as i get close enough he just pwns me

Anyone know how to get the three survivors (two blokes and a bird) out of the gunshop? I presume they canbe rescued?

I found that bit fairly easy too - I ran up the stairs and round to the right (opposite of brad) - I worked my way round to the same part of walkway as carlito was on so brad was one end I was the other, then I was just inside the shop doorway and edged forward and shot him everytime brad shot him (carlito turns to shoot brad then) - I found a clip of Uzi to the head did the trick

When you enter the gunshop they start shooting, if you then exit they will realise you're not a zombie and will talk to you. They will then ask you to take a picture of the air duct leading to the security room before following you, so it's best to come prepared for this to save having to go back.

Well even though I said I probably wouldn't bother with the Zombie Genocider Achivement I killed all the 53594 zombies tonight and boy was it boring toards the end.

Just leaves me wth 5 achivements to get now.

Has anyone tried the 5/7 day survival on infinity mode?

I gave up trying to get an 8th survivor had 7 and rescued them that will do for now upto lvl 33 so im getting there. Ill try the frank the pimp/saint achievement together another time.

Wheres the gun shop? i got a few more phsycos i wanna kill before i have to make it for the chopper.

as soon as i recuse them all i have the option of getting another 3 women to go in the group almost had it :mad:

Exactly the same way I did it. Saying that, I was quite a high level when doing the cases on my 2nd run through so had speed upgrades.

Nice one... so close too... I tried shooting one a couple of times before I went in, then went in, and quickly left again after they started shooting. I guess they don't want to talk once you've shot back

Blimey... I reckon there is a whole load I wont even bother going for, like the dress all costumes one, all food, saint... answer all calls etc. From reading this thread, it seem you can't actually do a lot of them unless you also do everything else. Like the answer all calls one. I don't have enough patience.

waaaaaaay i didnt save it after i rescued them 7 survivors so now i can do it again, i got leroy the "sick old man" guy and that gave me the 8 but i need a few women now to get the pimp one which i can get from the arson and the old lady from the football. Getting 11 survivors back is going to be interesting lol

Problem is, and this is where it gets complicated, there can only be 8 survivors, whether in tow or not, on the whole map at any one time.
So once you have 8 Otis won't call you about any more scoops and none of the 'random' survivors will make an appearance. It gets even more complicated as say you have 3 survivors with you in Paradise Plaza, then the game pops the two survivors hanging from big bunny in Wonderland Plaza (which you don't even know about) the games thinks, ahh, there are 5 potential survivors, the next scoop call is Jo the Cop which is 4 survivors = 9, so it won't make the call, or in fact any other scoop calls.

The only way round this is to kill one of the survivors and Otis's call will come through immediately.

To get Frank the Pimp, be prepared to kill a lot of male suirvivors, lol. It took me 3 goes but I worked out a strategy.

Run around killing / saving every scoop or let them expire.

Do whatever you need to do to get as far as killing Adam the Clown and opening the passage.

Some of this may be in slighty the wrong order; it's been a while since I did it.
Make sure you arm them and have lots of orange juice to give to them to keep their heath up.

Kill Greg.
Kill Gordon the Coward.
Save Sophie from the Convicts then kill her.
Head over to Cliff the hatchetman, kill him and the 3 survivors.
Head over to Paradise Plaza and save Heather and Pamela.
Save in the toilets and head back to Wonderland Plaza.
Save Sally from the big bunny, let Nick die (or help him to his death).
Run up to the lovers, kill Ross and save Tonya.
Now you should have 4 girls and you should have the Jo the Cop scoop call = 4 more women.

thanks for that smc that has saved me a lot of time lol no wonder i havent had any more calls for survivors then. I think i have 3 men at the minute, theres two with that arson guy? and 1 old lady on the football so if i kill the 3 guys it leaves me with the 8 women

I noticed you get the achievement straight away without taking them to the rescue room? Or is it a different achievement once they have been properly saved?
