Can someone explain how these achievemnts work?

i.e REQ 1 play?

etc...

Yeah. 'TYPE: 1 Play REQ: ' means you have to do it in 1 play, 'TYPE: Total REQ' is over the whole course of playing.

SO yes, you do have to save 50, kill all 10 psychos and kill 53k zombies in one go (not these 3 at the same time though!)

And had my 2nd go for Frank the Pimp and yet again had 7 women in tow and no one else spawned, but I know where I went wrong and 3rd time lucky!!

Nah, it's better mixing your own concoctions using the blenders in the food shops as not only will they fill up your health, but you get bonuses as well depending on what you mix.

tbh the trouble you have to go to using blenders i really can't see the point. The only thing remotely useful is the quickstep, but that doesn't even last that long. meh

The Katana is in Paradice Mall, you need to go up to the second floor and jump out of the resteraunt window.

The Guard. I assume this is the guy that is stuck on the Wonderland ride. You go to the ride around the time of the first Case or before the second case and fight Krusry the Clown (or IT if you prefer) once you beat him you stop the ride and a guard gets off and runs to the toilet (possibly a bad curry last night). He shows you a shortcut to the Paradice mall.

you guys do know that there is an SMG in paradise plaza thats very very easy to get (easier than the one in the fountain in al freasca plaza).

Both! They keep damn respawning.

Didn't think about the toilet exit though. I'll use that and go back for Sophie.

apparently the convixts only respawn 3 times in the whole game. I', not entirely convinced though :)

Just started playing this :) got a few questions !

I am on case 1, and have meet up with brad and killed the guy then on the way to the next part i get killed by zombies :(

Started again, run over to brad though that garden thing.

Kill the guy a second time :) make it to the next point with the old man.

Try to make it back but get killed again by some lads in a hummer !

Got to start it again now !!

Could i do something to make it better, like not having to complete the same part over again if i die ?

Thanks Ben

look for the save locations (a Black S in a yellow square) on the map - usually in the toilets. If you have a memory card you can save twice, as oppossed to the one time as default - e.g. before important missions etc.

But if you have the datel transfer kit, you can back your saves up. E.g. i a seperate save im using at the minute to get the zombie genocide achievement (nearly there2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!).

:)

Thanks Ben

what the flip?

I have just saved Tonya and Ross (the injured black guy). I am just standing b4 the ledge i need to climb up to get into the security room. I keep telling them to follow but they wont. Any ideas, as this didnt happen last time :/

Thanks lads.

I have completed that first case file now. Says i got to wait until 6am now for the next one.

By completing all the case files does that mean the game is complete ?

I keep getting calls from otis about people i could save but never do ? should i really be doing theses missions ?

I have saved a few people, is there anyway to recap/check the people i have saved ?

Thanks Ben

There's two types of missions in DR for the most part.

Case Files: Essential to progress through the game to unravel the final storyline, and unlock overtime mode. If you miss or fail any of them, then you can still opt to carry on playing the game right until the final 72hrs - BUT you won't be able to do anymore case files because they'll be expired. You can still rescue survivors and get updates from otis though.

Scoops: In essence it's your chance to rescue someone for major Prestige Points. To access your scoop list, just press left on the D-Pad and you can choose which ones to do. Every scoop has a certain time window in which to complete it, or the person will most probably die. If you choose to ignore these scoops then eventually the person will die once your time expires but it won't effect the game one bit. Think of scoops as simple side missions which don't effect the storyline.

im having abit of trouble getting my head around this game, not too keen on the time thing

nar, the time thing is good. Imagine if there was no tyime limit, you'd be hacking zombies forever.

I fail to see your point...

:D

well yer, but there simply wouldn't be much of a point imho. i kinow it's good to go in the miantainance or security tunnerls to kill a few thousands zombies, but people would moan if that was the case.

im still not seeing your point??

The game gives you 72hours (or 5 hours real time). The idea is you keep playing til everything is done rather than play once and don't touch again.

The time element is the best thing about it!
