Dead Rising

His machette is pretty good, but not as good as the clown chainsaws. I think you get a couple of unique books, but they can't be that good if I ditched them. Also you rescue about four survivors if memory serves me correctly.

You really don't need the maintennance tunnel key :D Its NOT a shortcut unless you are insane. Never ever take survivors down there. If you do want to get down there head for the carpark and grab the car or bike and cruise through the tunnels. As mentioned by someone else a few posts up there is a little section which is another room, which has an uzi and the key if you really want it.

You get a key for the room next door where 3 survivors are.

He's quite easy to kill. Chainsaw him as soon as you see him then switch to pistol / sniper rifle as soon as he jumps down a hole. He'll go to the top of one of about 4 wareouse racks and start throwing grenades. All you need to do is keep your distance, work out where he is and pop him so he comes back down. Now quickly switch back to your chainsaw and try and swipe him as he runs past. Then rinse and repeat. Note, it may take a few guns to do the job.

I've just finished the Saint's achievement. I managed to save everyone (all 53) and kill all the psycho's and as someone mentioned before I also had one very dicey moment. I had 7 survivors in tow back to the toilets in Paradise Plaza but didn't have the time to get back for a case. I had to ditch them all, run back to the security room for the case (got back with seconds to spare)then head back to pick them up. When I got back to the plaza they were all on about 1/3rd health and getting swarmed. Somehow I saved them all :)

Disappointingly I didn't get the Transmissionary Achivement and not really sure why not.

And as SiD says you really don't need the maintenance tunnel key. I haven't bothered with it yet at all.

Im ALMOST there. Just saved Isabella and Kindell and trying to work out whether to let the next case time out. They next one is Santa Cabeza which iirc is just a cutscene, however the one after that is the Last Resort, which if I do I think will end up bumping off Jessie and Brad, bringing down my total to a maximum of 51. I think I have everyone up to that point, but I don't want to risk it.

Its a hard one to get. Not only do you need to answer all of the normal calls, you need to be out of whatever area your next case file is at so Otis calls to remind you to get over there, and also do all cases and save most people, as some are tied together and cause Otis to generate more calls. Haven't suceeded this time round I don't think.

I let the Last Resort time out. That way Frank, Jessie, Isabella and Brad all count as survivors. (so 53). If you play 'Last Resort' Jessie and Brad die and Frank and Isabella don't get saved at the end of 72 hours. So only 49 saved! However... you can then complete Overtime mode to save yourself and Isabella and get the Achievement (51 saved). I decided just to finish it there as I'd already finished overtime mode.

Hope that makes sense.

I thought I'd had made them all but I did get interupted a few times and also let a couple ring more than once. There's also one call after 'Last Resort' times out though there seems some confusion on whether you actually need this one or not. I may try the game again some time and just try for this achivement.

Ah yes I thought that's what'd happen. I think I'll leave overtime for my next goal.

my fav weapon is the katana followed closely by the megablaster :D

there is a tunnel which leads from the central outside park area, it leads to a carpark with a car and a motorbike that you can ride/drive. also this carpark leads down into an underground carpark which is shoulder to shoulder full of zombies.

be aware that the vehicles dont last forever and take damage from running over zombies and crashing into stuff

does the car/bike reappear though once it has exploded or w/e?

Yes, but if you are stuck in the tunnel when it happens be prepared for a fight to get out :p There is also a truck down there you can get, and I've seen another car on Youtube, but have yet to find it myself.

You know the population is 51,000 or w/e, when you kill a zombie is that it? or do they just always reappear and be EVERYWHERE?

I have 7 survivors with me at the mo but only 5 women, need 1 more to get an 1 achievement at least but i dont have any scoops at the minute and im at the place u start.

Whats the safest way back to secruity room from here?

where are you excactly ?

are you in the entrance plaza, where the zombies 1st break into the mall ?

if so, you need to get to the paradise plaza

when you come into paradise plaza from the entrance plaza, the 1st door on the right (with the red light above it) is the entrance to the warehouse. once in the warehouse, you will need to clear it of zombies and lead your survivors round to the lift (which is also full of zombies, so clear it 1st)

the lift takes you to the roof, then climb up the step and call your survivors up, then enter the air duct

thats probably too much detail, but not sure if youve been there before lol

Aye i been thru it all b4 m8 on second play through i just hate taking survivors back with me any where as they are stupid!

Think ill get them back as far as the gym and then ill save and try to do it tomorrow as i got to go out soon. Would be fine if i could tool them all up but i cant

i did this game up to case 4 this morning in one long run, but somehow the friggin thing has wiped my save!

so am now starting from scratch again!, its really annoying like but i do have the extra levels and i do no where stuff is now like.
