I just kept doing that spinning punch over and over when I worked it out, but the fact that he kept strangling me for three bars of health at a time made it insane
 
Just cant get into this game, and have given it a fair old crack of the whip, AI, really kills it for me, and its clumsy,, really cant see what all the fuss is about over this title?
 
Killed the Gunshop owned last night, only lost 1 block of health doing it aswell. Guns dont seem that great though to be honest, much prefer the swords/battle axes :D.
Level 29 now as well, kicking some serious zombie butt, game just seems to get better the higher level you are, can't wait to go back through it and try to get some of the insane achievements.

Haven't even completed it once yet (I just did the motorcycle fight).
 
I did overtime at about level 40. he got me to one bar of health and I only took 2 away from him. Then I found jump-kicking him made it easy mode and finished him off, retaining my precious one bar of health.
 
Only need two more achievements for this now. Unfortunately those are for 5 and 7 day survivor. 14 hours without the ability to save. Should be fun. Clearly not worth it for 40gps so not sure if I'm going to bother. Would be nice to have 1000pts for this game thou given the amount of hours I've played it already.
 
Just a thought I've had here but, can you play through the game (72 hour mode) and completely ignore the case files, with the intention of just rescuing survivors?? I've done the 72 hour and overtime modes, only rescuing about 15 people.

You can, not sure if the entrance plaza barrier will stay down though. Plus to get all survivors you MUST complete the story up to but not completing 'The Last Resort'. If you go past that you will have to go into overtime mode to get the rescue 50 survivors achievement. Very hard but possible with some luck. Did it once thanks to the good old clown chain saws.
 
Clown chainsaws made the game a lot easier I will admit. Thing is, I don't see how you can recue everyone and do the case files, surely it's impossible?

Not all the case files, just up to last resort. Its VERY hard, at times I was getting to a case file with seconds to spare. Without the chainsaws to clear a path I'd imagine it'd be impossible. Got me to level 50 while doing it though :D
 
Saw a lot of people on the xbox forums who weren't using adams chainsaw, so a made a new thread :) Thought it may be of use to some people here, even though i have preached endlessly about this :)
 
I'm right at the end now, with the 10 hours to play.
Level 37 and didn't even bother to do the Adam scoop, enjoyed the challenge although stocking up on Axes/swords has meant it wasn't too hard :P.
