This thread has just made up my mind as to which of the multitude of games sitting on my shelf I should get into next.
Was thinking maybe Oblivion... Rainbow Six... Test Drive.. but no, gonna go with Dead Rising! Had it since I got my 360, played for a bit but just found it overwhelming as in there just seemed to be so much to do at the same time. Have always intended on giving it a proper go though at some point.
BTW, I don't see what the problem is with the save system - if you die in any game, you can restart from your last save or start a new game. Surely Dead Rising is exactly the same with the exception you can start a new game with your stats intact...?

trust me it gets quite a bit better once you level up, i also found it a huge learning curve, and hated the save system, but through perceverance i managed to complete it and got myself upto level 26, thats when you inherited it
