Dead Set On E4

thats what i meant by the folks at endemol have an easy job.

it was basically 28 days later vs. big brother. just another ad for that crap show really.

I don't really see how it's an ad for BB though, it parodies it perfectly, and was infinitely more entertaining than BB has and ever will be.

I really enjoyed the show, but I think that's because I accepted it for what it is, and didn't have all these expectations having never heard of Brooker before.

Lucky me :D

Quite enjoyed this... I want to watch it again tomorrow night in one stretch though. It's on Tomorrow (Saturday) on E4 at 10:00pm-12:45am if anyone doesn't know.

Felt the same really, Although I think they should have definitely made the last episode 1 hour long. It did seem a bit all to rushed. But meh it was fun to watch :)

I think the people that found it was boring and said there was no character development are basically getting the premise wrong.

I think that the fact there was no character development really served to highlight the hopelessness of the entire situation. It also helped in the fact that it made the end even more shocking because here you have all these characters, who you've just started to get to know, die at the very end without much fanfare.

Plus, the whole point was to bring horror and gore BACK to TV. We've not had a show like it for a long time. Not even the Americans have went that far, and I think out of everything that's the greatest accomplishment of it.

Brooker had made clear this was never going to be more than a TV nasty, It did a pretty good job in my eyes. What were the people complaining expecting?

Surely it was good just for the fact of seeing actors pretending to be annoying wanna be celebs getting eaten and torn apart.

Also waching tash man mess it all up and meet his end was pretty funny.

I watched the last episode last night, it was quite well done but the ending felt rather rushed, almost as if they'd run out of ideas as to where to take it. I'm not usually a fan of shows that leave an open ending for a sequel just as a cash in but this was one that I thought had the potential to be worth another series.
