use pulse rife and mines. by the end of the game i had 100 000 in credits. you should have plenty credits to buy in store
The guide I read was using the detonator, I will create a save point and come back to it later if I miss it.

Chapter 8 is the only one I've not enjoyed so far. Not a big fan of the zero g stuff in this one or the last. Other than that though so far it's awesome. Lost count of the number of times I've jumped when a piece of machinery has come to life.
Chapter 14 where you're getting chased by the regenerator wasn't any fun at all for me. Up until then i'd enjoyed the game.
The regen-necro is a bitch, there was just no reason for it to be in DS2, as wasn't it created by the scientist in DS1...![]()

I'm done with this game now. 950/1000. Just had a go on Hard Core and didn't get very farNo way I'm spoiling the enjoyment of a great game by trying to complete hard core. I'll live without 50 points

How was zealot with maxed out weapons?
I'm dreading that section already. I didn't mind it too much in DS1 as you had the stasis cheat but it still annoyed me.
Having problems getting the 3 tentacles with one shot on a lurker. Lost count of the amount of tries I've had!

I used the same 4 weapons for Zealot, all upgraded of course. Plasma, Line, Pulse Rifle and Detonator and made the end battle quite easy. As I said, make sure you have plenty of ammo and lots of health packs = a walk in the park.
I think the only suit I didn't buy was the Advanced Elite, I found it, just never bothered with it.
But if you have plenty of money to buy it shouldn't be a problem. In the 2nd half of the game I always made sure I had as much as I could carry in my inventory (health packs and ammo) when leaving a store
