Shopto, UK isnt getting that ultra fancy edition with the line gun thats usa only as far as im aware so you would need to import it.
All our LE includes is that Extraction game but only if you get it on PS3
Any one else avoiding the demo? I am for fact that its dead space so i want everything to be a new and at times demo ruins that even if its only very short part of a level... Or im just odd
The demo is very, very short. And it's what they were playing at E3 in the summer.
I was very concerned it wouldn't be as good as the first game, considering they've spoken in the past about changing the pace of it and making it more action-orientated, but the demo removed those fears for me. Felt very fluid, looked great, still had a fantastic atmosphere and utterly brilliant sound (especially on 5.1).
My only complaint was that the bit with the mavity ball thing was made too easy by the computer voice telling you exactly what to do. Not that it was particularly tricky anyway, but I hope it's not like that throughout.

hopefully il pop round my parents and abuse the broadband .I agree the way they've made the combat more fluid and the new antigravity control method are both welcome additions. Playing DS1 feels clunky now.
I enjoyed the demo.....after a while. Took me a bit to get used to the controls again and I got killed quite a few times. Those dead babies killed me about 10 times before I figured out how to do that bit properly.

Hated the first game,, played the demo of the upcoming second, still nah for me, killing waves of monsters doesnt do it for me, im really beginning to hate games that put you in enclosed spaces and throw waves of enemies at you, seems rather cheap and old hat now.
It's the Collector's Edition that comes with the Plasma Cutter etc, which is available for pre-order from a few UK retailers.
Played the demo, don’t know if its because I’ve just recovered from flu and been running a fever for the past few days but that just scared the heck out of me…
Is it meant to be so creepy, I had to sleep with a nightlight on, but then it didn’t help I played it an hour before I was about to go to bed anyhow. Weird game, maybe not for me?? But then it could be I’ve had flu and I’m still a bit dazed and ache so maybe wasn’t the best game demo to fire up again after being so ill.. lol

Yeah its meant to be that creepy, its awesome, the darker the plot the better for me.
Keep the save game - you'll unlock the plasma cutter in DS2 then.
