Dead Space Is Awesome!!

just completed chapter 5 :D was crapping myself with the regenerating alien thing after you.

Wasnt too hard to get rid of him in the end :P
 
There are 4x mavity lazer beeeam devices pointing at the rock. Take out the immediate two in the first room you're in, then run over to the other side of the meteor and take out the other two.

i wouldnt say its first person as you're facing the back of isaac. :P

watching dead space downfall at the moment, pretty interesting...

Not even close. It gets too repetitive and predictable during the latter chapters. It starts off great, but the fun factor wears off towards the end.
 
OMG I did it! Asteroid launched!

The room when in lock down and the monsters come in that would have been hard I have to say if I didn't sell the LINE GUN and buy the CONTACT BEAM GUN earlier - that's one badass gun.

If you like Resident Evil kind of games then you'll like this. I wouldn't say it's the best game I've ever played nor would I say it was the worst. It will happily eat into a few hours of your life and that's all I require in a game.

Definately worth playing IMHO as it's different to the rest of the crap that's out there at the moment. I'm getting so fed up with the rehashed shooters (i.e. Farcry 2) that this is like a breath of fresh air.

Just finished deadspace best game of the year so far.
Thought the last 2 missons were to easy might have to replay on impossible for a challenge.:)
I got really into the game but I found the train and then lobby with save and shop did take away a bit of the atmosphere a bit as after a couple of levels you know your safe there.
Still a great game tho.
 
i've been reading up some stuff on the suits in dead space, is it true that you'll only be able to get up to lv4 suit? :( while PS3 players etc get the lv5 suit, scorpion suit, military suit AND the Elite suit....
 
I think Yahtzee has a poo PC or he played it on console because the atmosphere on the PC version is so much better with better gfx and resolution!
 
I was using the lv5 suit on the pc version.
sold my ripper to buy it:)
When I cleared it I unlocked the military suit plus impossible mode and oddles of cash.
