Having a bit of trouble with a recently purchased SSD. I got the drive around a month ago now, a OCZ 2, and it worked flawlessly out of the box. Yesterday was no different, I went afk for about 30 minutes and came back to a 'No System Disk' boot failure. When I restarted BIOS did not detect the SSD at all. I tried swapping around leads and SATA ports, but with no success. However, the drive is detected about 1/10th of the time, and when it is it can boot in to Windows but crashes shortly after.
To me and my limited knowledge, it sounds like the drive is dead. However, I would be quite surprised if a modern SSD died after a month of casual use.
Is there anything else I can try? Any other ideas?
