The crucial M4 128gb i ordered arrived today
Just installed into system - Bios recognises it however windows does not?

It is alongside a 60gb OCZ drive

Any ideas?

thanks

Have you looked in disk management in windows? Right click on my computer and then go to manage, then goto disk management. It should be in there but will need initialising.

Click start then left click on computer and select mange this will bring up computer management.

Look down this list to storage and then disk management, select this and look to see if there is the drive is there as unallocated space.

If so right click on the drive and format.

Ok what am i doing wrong.. Ive cloned the disk selected copy all sectors but still both disks show as 60gb when one is 128gb? in disk managment i know have 66gb as unalocated space within the new drive after cloning boot drive.

Eeeek how do i recover the space back?

you have to extend the partition on the new drive, maybe can do this with disk management too

Yeah i managed this by deleting the volume it allocated it back.

Trying for the third time to clone the disk from 2E to M4 after it resized the 128gb to 60gb

Dont know what im doing wrong if it doesnt work this time.
