Ahh to get this card id have to get a PCI E mobo in the first place

.. But
out of intrest how much more performance would I get compared to my 6800GT and this card? Would it be say.. 2x increase in FPS? Or less?

I havent had great results overclocking mine, though it is running very cool and quiet on stock, which is great.

I think Rilot has been very leniant actually, from the FAQ:

Back OT, this card is a cracking deal for a very capable card well pleased with mine, a little over half the cost of an X1900XTX, but depending on game, between 15-30 % slower @ 1680x1050 4xAA

I upgraded from a 6800GT. I'd say the framerate just about doubled in Oblivion and some shader heavy benchmarks. The increase wasn't that big in some other games but it enabled me to up the IQ on just about everything I own. I'd definitely say it's worthwhile.

I bought one of these and a VF900(+ AS5), I can clock it to the max and still stay under 60c on full load.(40c idle) Before hand it was 60 idle and around 80+ full load. Best performance/money card I've ever bought!
