I get this too in Fur Mark. It's actually detectable in games to a much lesser extent if you have the speakers turned off. Is less so than my GTX 480s were though.

That military grade capacitors nonsense is just marketing bull**** unfortunately. :(
 
Could anyone with this card and a HAF X that's added some extra cooling/fans show some pics. I'm interested to see what I could do to help temps.
 
Bit off topic but didnt want to go and open up a whole new thread. The 'family' pc downstairs has a 6800LE in it right now, and I was thinking of putting the 5770 into it. Problem is that the PSU is a 300W one rated with 17A on the 12V rail. The rest of the system as a Core 2 duo @ 2.33ghz and 1x1gb DDR2 ram. Is there a chance the card could work?

470GTX with a 300watt PSU = Not a chance..
 
Just an update on the 470. Had it for just over a week and have to say it is great! Overclock is running at 820/1640/1735 with a voltage of 1.037v. Added a fan that sits right beside the GPU and I am now getting idle temps of 33 degrees with a fan speed of 45% and load temps of 60 degrees with a fan speed of 60%. Overall very happy with it, just hope it performs well in Crysis 2!
 
If these drop again I might grab one to cover me until 20nm comes out as I cant decide on anything current gen.

Can we get some clarification on the possiblity of these being sold at the above price again Gibbo please?
