Spot on.
Same principle I've lived my life with since I lost my hearing.
As much as it pains me to give the guy any form of credit, it makes perfect sense.
I've been close to death and it hasn't made me stranger
I've been close to death and it hasn't made me stranger, or at least I don't think it has lol
You are strange.
And that's a well known saying, stop being pedantic.

let me have my fun
Ok then, it hasn't made me stronger either although it did teach me a lesson
I don't mean to sound harsh here but is this a "look at me I have problems" post?

To the OP - I'd agree with the Gestapo lad, rational thought and a clear mind will always help.

Nobody should think they're superman either - even Neitzsche eventually broke-down.

You're mentally stronger because of it, even if you feel weaker. You've had an experience few will have and hopefully have learnt things because of it. To be strong is to be strange - our experiences warp us.
Urgh, this forum is terrible for its pedants.

What a beautifully crafted sentiment.It will, but the problem with that is that we are fundamentally still human and as such are plagued with emotion and the madness it brings. Emotion is irrational and we make sense of situations through our emotion.
Because he was atheist and God is not dead, neitzsche is![]()
