It's meant to be very good on the base model too ; the Pro basically helps reduce the need for DRS. Other than that they are almost identical.Have just picked this up for less than £60, happy with that
Will give it a whirl later. Loved the first game, one of the few I’ve played through twice. No Pro here though, but I’m sure it’ll still look great.
I wasn't expecting it to be so similar to the first game. I'm still loving it and all the weirdness but you are doing a lot of the same stuff but with lots of quality of life improvements. Maybe it'll change it up a bit more further in when all the named actors start showing up.
This is slightly disappointing. I was under the impression they had tightened up the stealth and combat and made it fun to actually get involved in encounters as opposed to simply avoiding it all together.Yeah , as folk have said it's very similar to the first title and carries a lot of the problems with it. Definitely having love it and hate it moments.
Loved this particular boss design but the combat is slow and clunky at times just like the first. Hard to actually feel like you're in control and not just going through the motions.
Oh well , at least I'm building roads now![]()

Well, best reserve judgement for yourself , good chance I'm just ***p at it.![]()
Well shucks, I'm downloading it now. Between @[timko] and having 10 quid already in my wallet. I've lied to myself and justified the cost at 47 sheets (and still have 10 quid in the wallet).I just go in guns blazing. Love the slo mo, especially in the rain, cool effect.
Despite my gripes I can't out it down, looong sessions.
You should probably complete the first game, it’s very much a sequel. This is slightly disappointing. I was under the impression they had tightened up the stealth and combat and made it fun to actually get involved in encounters as opposed to simply avoiding it all together.
I completed DS1; really enjoyed it, in spite of the combat aspect. I only ever engaged with the BTs and effectively avoided all interactions with the mules, outside of quest specific missions. You should probably complete the first game, it’s very much a sequel.
Really enjoying it so far, like the first. No one does cinematic games like Kojima, except perhaps naughty dog. The music and visuals are amazing.
