Decent game controller?

How are you connecting your Cyclone 2's? Is it with the dongle or Bluetooth. I'm getting occasional boot errors which i think are happening when the dongle is connected. It's only happened a couple of times, but trying to rule things out.

One end of the supplied USB cable to PC, other end to charger.

Then install software d/l from web.

Dongle with PC & Android tablet (with a 4 port USB-C adapter, so I can charge at the same time), BT on the TV (Apollo/Artemis streaming - latency not ideal, but it works).

Got to say mightly impressed with the cyclone 2 especially given the price point! Much better than the standard Xbox controller. Although do miss the weight of the original

It turns out USB controller on my motherboard was on its way out. These issues were a symptom of the impending failure.

All good on my new setup.

My last one (its that good I bought two) cost me £33.99.

Makes a mockery of the £150ish cost for the Elite 2.
Damn thats cheap I was thinking it'll be around the £90 mark as I've not heard if it before. I'll get one on order for the price of a takeaway lol.

Noticing a lot of the options suggested in this thread are currently a fair chunk above the prices people are stating (e.g. the Cyclone with dock is currently £56, so ~65% more...)
Is this just Trump and his tarriffs screwing things up or more of a case of needing to keep an eye out for when they're on offer?

Still using an old wired 360 controller which I've had for probably 10+ years, one of the stick orbits has broken when I tripped over the wire and launched it across the room. Still works fine but thinking it's time I replaced it with something more modern, at least at some point.

Probably buying from chinese marketplace sites instead of local stores, you need to buy when they have discount codes though as prices fluctuate a lot.

Cheers, I was just looking at prices on the 'forest, hadn't occured to look on the other marketplaces!
Looking there now I see they're ~£45, so more reasonable! Although tbh I'm lazy and impatient, so would probably just pay the extra £10 for next day and I assume better recourse for returns.

Not really playing anything controller based at the moment (or much gaming in general tbh) so will keep an eye out for deals... definitely gonna have to have a crack at the enhanced version of GTA5 at some point soon though!

New compact travel friendly controller with Hall effect sticks? Less than £20 on Aliexpress. Worth a pun? I am guessing it is BT only.
