To be honest, the amount of times I punted nd re counted the plates when I did 170 was pretty funny. Must have counted them at least 5 times as I was suprised at how easy it moved.

I pretty much tend to film most of my sets now just p I can check out the form is all good.

That's how I was; I'm used to putting on 10's either side at home so was going up in 20's instead of 40's in my head when I was gradually adding on the weight.

So thats squats and deadlifts increased (still remembering back when form was laughable and I'm still in one piece so far :D). Bench and OHP are getting tough and probably wont get much of an increase... maybe 2.5kg lol!

Should give me some nice pre-op totals to aim for once I'm fully recovered and ready to go :)

Once I fixed form, it felt a lot better and numbers kept increasing. Now I'm just stuck again :p. Might try wider stance as I pretty much do it feet close together and wider is supposedly easier.. Although the added core work from close stance is a benefit :D

Crappy day today, just had no energy at all. On top of that, my ankle that I mangled a few weeks back decided to come say hello and messed up my day :(

Thanks :). It should go ok, its just the healing process that is a pain in the ass. Hopefully not out as long as they think though!

I will be keeping an eye on your log as I want to see how CBL goes for you and decide if I want to do it or just do as I normally do currently.

You aren't that far off, no doubt once im back to lifting, I will be playing the catch up game!

I will probably eat 'clean' and at maintenance as I did after the other ops as I don't want to gain what I've just lost.

Going to be fun on the first week back as I wont be able to move anything! Oh the DOMS.. :D
 
Well thought I would update this!

Nearly a month in to recovery and it's going good so far, although im getting gym withdrawal :(. Going to start getting back in to mobility this week and loosen up the muscles ready.

Been looking at which lifts I can do that don't stretch my chest until fully recovered, so came up with the routine below currently.

Deadlifts
RDL
Leg raises
Body Saws

------------------
Front Squats - These will be fun :D
Split Squats
Leg raises
Body Saws

------------------
OHP and Bench itself will be a toughy due to the pushing motion and wide grip.

Side raises
Front raises
BOR


Those are the ones off top of my head at the moment, so if anyone has any suggestions, feel free to have a say!

I wont be going heavy with these, not until im back 100%, but will help keep my body in check and not turn in to blubber while I sit on my ass all day :p

It's healing pretty well and no torn stitches just yet! It's also nice to see that I can still cripple myself for the rest of the week on Squat day :eek:

Thanks :). Yea, there is always that. Well I can still atleast do mobility and make sure im nice and supple for when I'm back ;) Got some Pre-op PB's to beat!
