Test drove a GT4 today at Perth. They had two to choose from ... a Silver non carbon ceramic car and a bright yellow one with ceramics and buckets which was gorgeous. Really enjoyed the test drive, so think I may be buying one.

Best car I’ve owned. Even compared with cars that cost 2-3x as much

I’ve been looking at that yellow one, would absolutely be my choice.

Fight over ... I placed a deposit on the car. At £91k it really got me thinking it's too expensive. Having trawled through Autotrader you can buy an Audi R8 V10 Plus for that now (2016 new model). It really makes me doubt if the GT4 is that good.

Having said that it's a great car and with only 500 miles and near perfect spec I'm sure I'll be very happy. I pick it up in a couple of weeks after I move into my new house so will upload some pictures soon!

In the meantime, here's one I took at the dealer:

What did you do with the M4? That was flying last time I saw it at the local, loved the colour.
Did you see it at Knockhill? Great car and enjoyed lots of fun miles. Upgraded it with Decats, JB4 and KW V3 Coilovers. Pic below:

Enjoyed the car and loved the colour, but had an itch for an all wheel drive monster. Enter Godzilla:

Again, had a great time in this car. It was 2013 Nissan GTR with around 680hp from Severn Valley Motorsport.

It really is *that* good. Mine has 18k miles on it now, I daily it. It’s the best car I’ve owned bar none, and that’s including Ferrari, McLaren, Aston, Lamborghini.

I’ve never kept a car longer than 18 months, normally less than 6, yet this remains in my garage after 28 months.

Congratulations on a spectacular purchase.

That's quite a relief to hear when all around me is "you're spending £91k on a car with 380bhp??!". Haha - thanks buddy.

Cracking purchase that, gotta say you photo is way better than the dealership advert photos, looks stunning.

Oooof, that's rather lovely.

Popped onto Perth Porsche page before coming onto page 2 here and saw one GT4 had gone, knew what to expect :D

Not sure how you've gone from getting cold feet about buying an M2 due to expecting a child to then buying a GT4 but congrats :D

Ouch, stupid money for the car but imagine it’ll hold its value so not as bad as seems at first glance.

Well actually I guess the finance isn’t great...? (Assuming so)

Actually not bad. The future value is based on common sense (60k), not CAP (40k) so monthlies are lower than your expect. Interest rate APR(%) starts with a 5.

I'm well aware of the financial situation with the car but I heard some news recently where someone close to my family is dying of leukaemia and it made me really think of living life now rather than later. I'll have a beautiful house to live in, and certainly won't be struggling financially so why not.

What's funny is my 1994 MX5 will be quicker than this car. Veterans of OCUK years ago will probably recall my various mx5 vs the World threads, so quite funny :D
