I am jealous! I hav planning permision to build on and I will have a room which is about 2.57x5m so I think I will be doing something similar to your cinema. I think I will be getting an Espon TW6600 and over the next few weeks I will be deciding on which amp and speakers I will be going for.

Excuse my ignorance.... Is having rockwool insulation a good idea behind the tv? is there any chance of a fire hazard as the electrics may overheat?

/\/\/\/\ I think you'll find that there's no chance of Rockwool catching fire, its made from LAVA.
