Defragment Question

I have 2 Seagate Momentus 7200.4 500GB 7200RPM SATA-II 16MB Cache

1 of them which is my main C drive does not seem to defragment very well , seems to Analyze disk no problems

Is this normal ? Been stuck at 0% for the last 30 mins

Saying that my external is also stuck on 0% for the last 30 mins so i am guessing this a Windows 7 problem

I have had some drives which seem to defrag so slowly it seems like very little is happening, however it was usually a few percent in.

Maybe try using some sort of 3rd party defrag tool rather than windows (if you are using windows atm)?

Try booting into safemode and running a Defrag again to see what happens. If you still have problems then grab Auslogics Disk Defrag and run this.
