Please don't say 'for cooling' :(

Anyone got Andy Nicholl's email address? I know how to solve his weight-transfer issues at launch...

How?

He uses a Mk3 Rover 200 now with jacked up rear end and Rock hard suspension - The only way to almost eliminate weight transfer.

I run 600lb front springs with 900lb rears, single arb up front and twin arbs on the back end

Weight transfer really aint a problem, keeping your fillings in is :D

Ouch...Complete overkill on a light-weight track car, no?

I had 4 of them over the years i loved em to bits, literally. Owned a 1.3, 1.6HLS 1.6L and a 2L EFI MG but not the Tubbo. Always wanted one. But my MG had the digi and voice dash. That was funny. If i could find one in good nick i would have one as a second car today.

Looks a fast motor! I had a Maestro, H Reg 1.3 Clubman in Targa red and I loved it :p . I put MG alloys on it, and I thought it was surprisingly fast for a 1.3OHV A-series. :D

A Mate of mine from years ago had an MG Maestro which was quick, but the quickest MG Turbo I drove was the Montego version. I never got to drive a Maestro turbo. :)

I think he still holds the record for fastest Fwd car in the uk. Someone rearended his car so he welded and rebuilt the rear end single handed, the guy got skills.

They were always the fastest of the old MGs

Ok, Ok, stop bragging..
I think you may be overstepping your posting privileges by posting sexy pictures on OCUK. Stick to RT for that sonny...

Guess who ?

Great, another balding Rovertech'r joins us! :p ;) :D

That Maestro is fantastic. Looks like it could do with a bit of patching up, but I guess it's going to get tatty being a track car. I like the centre exit exhaust. Needs to be bigger and make more noise though.

Nice Rover in the background. Reminds me of my old one. Guessing it's a 214 by the grey trim.

Found out today that two people in the building where I work have owned MG Metro Turbo's! Lucky people!
