Bloody hell, enough fuss over a bonnet scoop? I worry about you lot sometimes.

Oi :p

Its a scooby scoop though. It does look better with the 'front' bit though. I just am used to seeing every barry with one on their fiesta / nova

sod the scoop.. its a track day car no? defo practicality over looks.. ya not gonna be caring what ya car looks like when ya passing all the unsuspecting people on the track while having a right laugh. :D

Agree about the scoop looking silly, but needs must.

I think this car is great, and can't wait to see it ripping round a track

I love that first pic, looks like the ******* child of a scooby, Maestro and dodge charger :D
Form follows function I do believe and the whole idea of bonnet scoops I dislike but it dont look too bad and I doubt your aiming for top speeds so the drag wont matter too much hopefully, having it in my view would still nag me :/

You havent given us a bigger picture of it, looks like a real home made peice of work. well done

Why would you want discs on the back of a light hatch like the Maestro?

well, i don't know as much as you guys :p, but i just thought that the car was going to be a bit of a weapon.. and discs would be better at stopping it?

i know there is brake bias and everything, but still thought disks would be the flavour of choice. would they actually be worse then?

Apart from aesthetics I'd rather have rear drums on a ligtweight car. My rear discs are a PITA, crap handbrake and prone to seizing.

On a car that light I dont think it'll be much disadvantage its just that they never expected it to be so fast! :D
Iam doing my rear brakes now, yep they seized! Having to replace the whole carrier
Do the MG ZS rear brakes, beefy :)
