One of the fastest fwd cars in the uk is a maestro.

So how much does this example weigh now ?

I have not seen never mind driven an MG turbo Maestro for years! They look great. Good luck with your project/racing !

Great project - if I had the space I'd do something like this, although a different car.

Just wondering about the front crossbar on your roll-cage - if you hit something hard front on, wouldn't the bar bend inwards crushing your legs?! Can't really judge from the angle of the photo though, but it's got alarm bells ringing.
