How the hell does it work? I can see it in an established context (computerised for example) but it seems pretty hard to run at a student bar o.o
Student bars probably make more money than most pubs, or at least more custom so probably easier to do in an SU bar than a normal pub.

Think it's just attached to the tills, automated and then the prices come up on a board at the back.

They've used it a few times where I work and the crashes are entirely pre-programmed by the staff to get rid of whatever stock they have too much of or is close to the use-by date. I guess it's win-win though really since a lot of students will take anything cheap that will get them drunk.
