So it was. Dunno what some silly civilians were doing there but apparently the NATO doesn't know or care either:(

yet you take Gaddaffis BS propaganda as fact every time he speaks

no i dont... a lot is bs and ill admit that but its BS on both sides but its the rebel propaganda the media we see because sarkozi/cameron are desperate to not look fools for getting involved in a civil war and picking a side.

i doubt anyone believes the reasons we were told for military action anymore , it clearly has never been about protecting civilians yet people lap it all up anyway as if were doing a good dead by getting involved in another countries internal disupute because were constantly told how evil the regime is , how they are using cluster bombs , napalm , vigra fueled pedophile soldiers (dailymail really printed this) and other random BS non of which has ever been backed up with facts just based on what the rebels say as beeing gospel truth.

its not like they have an agenda by trying to keep sympathy with the nato countries civilians...

we already know the rebel leader lived in america for 20 years  something our newspapers or tv channels ever reported...

where was the UN resolution for the regime change of iraq? illegal war + thousands of civilians dead
any other countries and it would have been a different story.

They nearly kill Gaddafi after a television appearance and now threaten him with the prospect of court:

Mr Ocampo said there is also relevant information that war crimes were committed once the situation developed into armed conflict, such as intentional attacks against non-combatants and the apparent use of cluster bombs.

From a previous BBC article:

The international Convention on Cluster Munitions, adopted in Dublin in 2008, prohibits its 108 signatories from using cluster weapons because of the threat they pose to civilians.

Libya is one of the states which has not signed the convention, along with countries such as the US, Israel, Russia and China

Even if they took him to court - as if he would survive years and years of legal proceedings. He would probably rather take the no-fly zone :p

They do care, they took away the invitation to the wedding and are considering some more targeted sanctions. To be honest - even if they dropped a bomb on hundreds of protestors, would we do anything that involves military action (no-fly or occupation)? Another front to defend, protect or occupy coupled with the fact that Syria are probably a lot more capable than Libya? Just can't see it happening. Libya was the easiest of the lot to take on?
