Pre-emptively striking nuclear weapon research and development facilities could well be in our interest.
Does it not concern you that an increasingly wide variety of still developing nations are wanting to acquire these weapons?
The threat of proliferation is growing all the time, not to mention the chances of materials/hardware/knowledge being smuggled and sold to other nations and groups. It will become ever more difficult to keep track of materials and perhaps in the not too distant future a rogue organisation could get their hands on radioactive/fissile material or even a crude fission bomb.
Not mad, more sad TBH, at how many people eagerly support war, death and destruction. Particularly against countries who have invaded and threatened nobody else.

You get my point. Israel and the USA are the most aggressive rogue states on the planet, they are the most threatening countries and they (the US) invade the most countries. They both flout international law and the will of the UN. They believe in international law for other countries, BUT NOT FOR THEMSELVES. And then they wonder why most of the world despises them.
One thing is for sure, It wont be a push over with Iran. With Iraq they walked in found nothing, stupid war.

because if you think this country is so bad and you are willing to support terrorists then you should just get out.
You believe that's the only reason Iran is seeking to acquire nuclear weapons? Although it has since been changed, were you aware that for a while, the Hezbollah party flag was a mushroom cloud, with a warning to the Jews underneath? You want a regime like this to actually have nuclear weapons?
You seem to be under the impression that Iran is perfectly entitled to have nuclear weapons. Don't forget that they are still claiming that they are not seeking them, that they have been legally bound to that effect numerous times by the IAEA, the UN and the EU. But you would be content for them to continue their development of nuclear WMD? Call me old fashioned, but I just can't abide the idea of a messianic theocracy attaining apocalyptic weaponry... But, I suppose Pakistan has them. It would only be fair for there to be a Shia nuke, as well.

Iran has also fought a 8 years bloody war with iraq, so they are no pushover when it comes to war.
