Delivery with DPD.

I've had DPD just drop off stuff right in front of the front door, no warning or anything, anyone could have easily grabbed the things and just walked away, Royal Mail also did this on couple of occasions.

It doesn't happen often thankfully, but it's annoying when it happens.

No complaints with my local DPD driver, yesterday he rang the bell, opened the downstairs door, came up the stairs, knocked on my door and waited for me to open it so that he could take a photo of the package in my hands - that's what it's supposed to be like

Feeling kind of sorry for my DPD driver today following the tracking - looks like they've rammed him full of parcels, **** route and hideous time expectations. Surprisingly managed to deliver to me about 10 minutes ahead of expected time (within the window).

They're always great where I am I could have ordered for saturday delivery which would have cost quite a bit extra but thought nah mondays fine and paid for regular. They delivered on saturday anyway.

They delivered on saturday anyway.
This is what baffles me. How do their systems work? I received a text saying it was coming... I opted for a different day... they delivered anyway... but not to me! It turns out it was some fairly random address abouf 5 streets away. To their credit, I could actually speak to someone (unlike FedEx who I was trying to contact recently) and they were very apologetic and reasonably helpful, but then thankfully a nice man at the address they left it at, dropped it over to me anyway.

Mind you FedEx are just as bad (hence trying to call them). On Tuesday: 'We'll deliver on Friday', no, please deliver a week Tuesday. 'Okay, we'll deliver tomorrow'.. What?! Now, each day I get an email saying chosen date is 22nd, 'We'll deliver tomorrow'.

Had a very bad experience lately. The package came in a totally different box with a "Repackaged by DPD with care" tape all around it, absolutely no padding inside, and one of the items missing. The best part is the items were free flowing around the box due to the lack of padding and it included a hard drive.

i ordered a iMac Pro several months back, came home one afternoon, no schedule to be out for delivery and there was a big cardboard box outside the front door, no note, signature or anything!!

Usually I find DPD to be great aswell!
