Iconic design is in our blood.
Looks that kill: A premium, polished silver finish and ultramodern design reflect our commitment to sophisticated appearance, unparalleled quality and gargantuan gaming.

We focused on the details so you can focus on the screen: Your monitor features an ultrathin 3-sided bezel for an expansive 34-inch screen space. Our unique step-venting details help dissipate heat and maximize performance. And we added the unearthly glow of Triad lighting to complete the monitor that’s better looking than it has to be.

Curve your enthusiasm: Completely immerse yourself with a sweeping, 1900R curved infinity display that takes you deeper into the game and a 21:9 aspect ratio that makes every vantage point epic. The curved screen maximizes your field of vision, reducing eye movement, so you can stay comfortably focused on the game longer.

The competition can eat your dust.
Expand your horizons: In-plane switching panels mean a wide 178°/178° viewing angle from any vantage point and incredibly vivid, detailed sRGB99% color reproduction from wherever you are in the room.

Get real: A 3440 X 1440 WQHD resolution display delivers sharp, crystal-clear graphics with 3.68 million pixels—1.77 times more detail than a Full HD display. So you’ll see every blade of grass, every glint of steel, every drop of sweat more vividly, intensely and richly than ever before.

Synched up and ready to roll: NVIDIA® G-SYNC™ technology displays full frames only when the monitor is ready to display them. This means your screen frames load so fast, you can say goodbye to distortions—like tearing and artifacts—and get used to smooth, vibrant images.

By the time this sentence is over: Refresh rates so fast you won’t have time to worry about lag. Bring on even faster responsiveness with 100Hz native [or up to 120Hz overclocked] refresh rates and 4ms response times to max out on the highest, fastest level gameplay that looks and feels super smooth.

Your central battle system.

Looks interesting! TFT central have reviewed it. On the whole good aside from lower than expected contrast ratio which is a shame and brightness is borderline.

“Brightness is borderline”? What do you mean?

It’s $999 on sale direct from dell I believe at the mo so a reflection of what it probably should be priced at which is far better :)

Brightness comment was only from a youtube pundit!

Do you rate it above the 34a and PG848Q? I.e. is that contrast ratio defecit bad/noticeable?

I'd be happy if it matched the dollar price in pounds tbh

I'm not sure what that brightness comment could be in relation to to be honest, but hey. For gaming I think it's the best ultra wide available right now. The contrast is a little lower than the Acer and Asus models but nothing you'd really notice in real use. A VA ultra wide will offer you a better contrast ratio, but the response times generally aren't as good and the refresh is currently limited to 100Hz on 1440p models.

Good to know. I was really interested in the Z35P for the contrast level but worry about pixel transition time.

Oops sorry about hotlinking!

I know every panel is different but would your calibration settings get most monitors nearer to ideal gamma as it was 16-17% off wasn't it? I'm surprised as I thought Dell monitors we're legendary for being sweet out the box.

TFT Central have given this a good review, and given how this is from DELL I think should there be issues, one would at least have better customer service/warranty support...

Some mixed reviews on dell.com seems love or hate, possibly panel lottery two guys say the top border of the screen 0.5cm thick is dark and uneven colours is a theme also.

I hope either they lower prices to match the x34a/PG348Q or the Acer and Asus models drop in price.

Great spec! Doesn't look as nice as their standard ultrawide tho - which is sexy as hell. Why do manufactures think we want our gaming monitors to look like a Michael Bay transformer?
