Hi guys,

Following on from my previous thread on this issue, I'm still having problems. I've done a little more troubleshooting.

I have Windows 7 installed on a Dell D620 with factory fitted Dell 350 Bluetooth module. Until very recently, this has worked perfectly - I used bluetooth daily for months without issues.

All of a sudden, Bluetooth has stopped working properly. It is difficult to pair things (ie, sometimes it just plain wont find any other devices) and crucially, the bluetooth module only works from a fresh boot. If i hibernate the machine or put it into standby, when it comes back Windows acts as if the Bluetooth module simply doesn't exist.

I have therefore tried using an external USB Bluetooth Dongle. This works perfectly.

How can I work out whether this is a hardware issue with my Dell Bluetooth module or some sort of bizarre driver issue?

Thanks guys!

sounds rather odd, then again, i've just had some bizzarre issues with my built-in WWAN card.

have you tried uninstalling the bluetooth card from device manager and then rebooting and letting windows reinstall it automatically?
