Whatever will they do when one of them stands up and complains about jazz hands making them feel threatened? I think I suffer from sensory overload in busy places but I don't shout at everyone and demand they act quietly. That's the problem with socialists and todays left they want everyone to live by their own increasingly restrictive rules and don't believe in individual liberty, they want everything to be controlled and nothing unexpected to happen. I believe it's also known as insecurity and also narcissists are notorious for wanting to control everyone around them.

I forwarded the clip to a friend of mine, a fairly liberal, registered Democrat judge in the Brooklyn NY, juvenile court system.
She replied, “I’m surprised at an intelligent person like you, just writing them off as cranks.”
She has invited my wife and I to spend some time with her and her boyfriend, at their condo in San Diego CA.
I’m wondering if that would be a wise move, or will we debate ourselves to death, jazz hands optional?

LOL, yeah the SJW/identity politics thing is infecting moderate Dems over there, they've always had a bit of a different attitude towards race relations etc... it's kind of swung from one extreme to the other.

Even things like affirmative action, which you'd get centre left people opposing over here is much more widely accepted there, I guess party because we didn't have official segregation policies in the first place. The whole idea of people being privileged not privilege many due to skin colour is more readily accepted in a society that had officially sanctioned racial segregation only a few decades ago.
