I know they serve a purpose but man, I wish Sky would give us the option to "opt out" from seeing them. For me personally if I have spare cash I will happily give to cancer research or a similar charity, I don't need to be guilted into doing so. There's one showing ATM where it's just 2 minutes of dying kids in Africa, which is terrible but it's not the sort of thing you want to see.
It's especially bad at Christmas when it seems every advert is about someone dying.
