Lacuna Coil - Falling. Beautiful song, Cristina Scabbia's voice is haunting. Try any Lacuna Coil actually, but most of it is pretty heavy. Oh and Comalies is along the same lines as Falling, but not as good.

if not how about Sun Kil Moon - Duk Koo Kim. it's actually about waking up/death etc and would be perfect imo
