Katie's is the best - a lot of thought has gone into it and when this thread began I was wondering whether people were going to take all the numerous factors she has into consideration (well, from the random 'what makes a logo good' articles I've read in my time).... it has to win !!!

My money is on nimz. Katie's looks good but looks a little too bare for my liking, and I personally believe its an overrated logo for what it is. Without all the corporate babble prior to the submission and the white web design change idea (not to mention all the crazy photoshops) it wouldn't have stood out as much, though that's my opinion.

I know bugger all about design but I think the future logo should contain both OCUK and Overclockers on it because a lot of people either know one name or the other and they should be merged.
Katie's top middle one is excellent but doesn't contain OCUK unless both the O and C were also greyed.

Agreed - Im sure the rest could have provided appropriate psycho-babble regards their logos too if requested...

Nimz looks tighter and the font is far better - Katies just has better usage of colour...

I don't see why they can't choose two logos. For example, Katies top one and bottom right. The have the same wave device which is distinctive. I think they would work well together.

I easily differentiate the c and l in nimz's design plus he has seperated his uk from overclockers so it doesn't read overclockersuk like it does in katies

Definitely.

I think I favour Katie's but I like Diggsy's too. I'm glad it's not my decision, to be honest I think I would end up picking none of them. It's too big a decision to be made quickly (well would be for me).
