*** Desk and Room Gallery***

Bah, stupid University's and thier built in desks. I guess you will be charged if was to cut holes in the desk. Must drive you mad. I would drive me mad, have to have the wires hiding away or else it really annoys me :p

at least your uni desk has decent space on it, lol

uni i am looking at going to wouldn't even fit my 22" inch monitor on it as they stupid fitted some wall shelfing behing the desk way way way to low, so monitor would have to sit to far forward on desk.

looks good though, need more drink though

The thing i hate about halls is that all the wires can't be dropped through the desk, so i have a massive nest behind my speakers and pc etc

Awesome chair. I've just checked out the company that makes them (Erkornes) and i'm seriously tempted to buy the Jazz Chair but it's a serious investment at £2000.

I can't belive people won't blink at regularly spending thousands on PC components and upgrades yet sit slouched for hours on cheap £20 office chairs that will eventualy screw there spine up.

I know what you mean but OUCH £2000 on a chair!!
Don't think I'd spend that much

Yeah I'm finding the same thing.

Am I being really dense? How did you get it to work mark1? Will have another look at it once I get home from work.

Oh ok, hadn't realised that. I'm using ultramon to manage my screensaver across multiple monitors and it shows up fine in the ultramon dialogue. I don't know how to get it showing in the windows settings :o

Well, at least your hall is much better than mine!!!

But that was like in 2004/2005 and throughout the academic year, i felt like the table was going to break!!!

Excuse the carpet, it was already in the room. I'm replacing it with wooden floor early next year.

Desk area is not finished yet and need to finish hiding the cables.

Finally chose and bought a monitor arm, the Ergotron LX:

Thanks again to mark1 who first told me about this arm - its great! :D

Now I can lower the monitor and angle it downwards

Also to all those with spaghetti wires at the back of their pcs, try some trunking like I did:

All my cables run through it - one of the best purchases I've ever made.
