Thanks guys, I started off with the single 24" but after seeing a demonstration of triple head gaming I knew I just had to have this. The max res you can use due to limitations of DVI is 5040x1050, so would have liked to get 3x22" to keep it at native res but space limitations meant I had to settle for 20". I picked these up at a Dell outlet store for £99 each, with a 3yr dell warrenty. the original plan was to consign the 24" to the second PC but it was just too good for that so I mounted on a arm on the wall behind with adjustment for swing and tilt, and use it mainly for video pictures and to have Outlook and MSN running while I am gaming on the lower 3. Also it means i can use the larger screen for games that dont run in TripleHead rather than using the smaller centre monitor. Heres one more..

Gonna be building my new rig to power these beasts on tuesday :)

Edit: Forgot to mention, I stripped the panels' frames off and hinged the three screens together with mylar, in case your wondering why they dont actually look like belineas.

Dude: where'd yah get the 73button mouse?

:D Tank, are you using Triplehead2go as well or SoftTH. I am suprised there aren't more people on this site that game in widescreen. Now that I have tried it I dont think I could ever go back. The only problem is I will be waiting a while to paly Crysis as I refuse to try it untill I have a video card that will run it at that res in High (only played the first few minutes, get around 15fps at 5040x1050 with the 280GTX, may be with the next round of cards...). No problems with any other games maxed out with it though.

Triplehead2go digital! I agree, I dare not go back to anything less than 3000px wide! :P

I am in the same predicament. Up until xmas I was using 1 screen and my amd 4400,2gb,7800gtx system did just fine: then i set up the TH2go and found it way more demanding than I was expecting.

As a quick fix I bought an Asus 4850 with 1gb (i hear that big memory helps big res's).

Its ok but not brilliant, Hence im building me a new rig on tuesday. Gonna go something like this:

Gig x58 board, i7 920, 6gb ocz 1333, 150 velociraptor, I'll be purchasing a second 4850 1gb to xfire with until (like you) a new round of awesome cards come out. I just cant justify losing the first 4850 after only 6weeks.

Being massively inspired by rjkoneill (http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17952928): I too will be using a silverstone ft01b-w.

I'll only be cooling with air atm as I have never done anything with wc so far. But that'll give me a nice project to play with over the coming months while im waiting for new cards to be revealed!

Anyhow, once I've got that little lot built, I should imagine one of the first things I do is install and delve into crysis, I'll be sure to let you know how I get on! :)

BTW, what res do you run your games at? I was under the impression I'd be limeted to the 3840x1024 that th2go gives me, I think I read somewhere that is a limitation of DirectX... is that true, or is it perhaps true for just dx9?
You get 5040x1050 while running games?
