This is a heavily overclocked wool blend twist.
I've taken it from a 50/50 wool polyester blend up to a 90/10 wool/polyester blend.
the hoovering results speak for temselves, it returns a dyson rating of 96%
96% for gads sakes!!!!!
i would overclock more but as any carpet clocker worth their salt knows, the stain resistance tends to drop off above 90%
Sure you can get a higher hoover rating but what happens when you spill a glass of wine on it???

Any one else out there modding carpets????

LMFAO that just cheered me RIGHT up mate, you legend

I'm stuck with boring white carpet all over the house .:(

Hey don't beat yourself up,we all had to start somewhere
carpet modding can seem a bit daunting at times, a lot of people start of by putting a few rugs around the place, and work there way up from there.

by way of encouragement heres a pic of my old original set up, An old Blue nylon Berber, it didn't even have a separate underlay (the shame). Looking back now it's hard to imagine how I coped, but then a friend introduced me into the dark art of carpet modding and I was hooked, It started with a few rugs here and there, but before I knew it I was quite happily changing out the door grippers and replacing them with chrome ones.
