Warmer sound due to being warmer (thermally) ?

My NAD sits under the desk atm so already gets pretty warm :p

Yep. Apparently my amp sounds better when its been left on for a few hours. Now its warm when its not on. When its been playing music for a few hours its hot but not burning hot like some amps that dont have anything sitting on them.

On the amp there are vents on the bottom, top, back and sides

@ robz, thats cheating mate :p

And just noticed we have the same case, lol

Heh, I'd rather take the abuse for cheating than show it.

What do you reckon to the case? I bought it with the watercooling kit, but even thought it was designed for it it never seemed quite big enough. Going back to a standard air-cooling system though I think its a great case.

Yeah, its deffo not big enough for wc imo. Ive only ever used air and the case has always been cool and relativly dust free. I dont have any problems running my e6320 @ 3.29, with temps usualy below 40 unless its hot outside lol

Thats a very nice stand there. Sweet set up in general TBH although I do think those speaker belong in living rooms not bed rooms lol And you neglected to give us a picture of your actual tower!

My speakers were black, well I had the black version which suited to a T but my nephew poked the woofer cones and dented them (aluminium) so I had to swap them for the wood coloured ones. One day I'll spray the cabinets matte black again and all will be good :P

As for the tower...

Ah that truly is a very nice case. I meant the size of the speakers, not their colour which implied they should live in a larger room ;)

Forgive my ignorance but what is that locker looking thing at the bottom right of your case? A HDD enclosure? I know nothing about them, what is the point of them?
