*** Desk and Room Gallery***

hughythomas where did you get that lovely rack?

Thats what she said!!!

Ha ha sorry I couldn't help myself!

Yer, thats me recording studio although the pictures don't show the live room in its entirety.

Rack consists of:

TC Electronics M300
Aphex 207
Behringer headphone amp
Audient ASP008
RME Fireface 800

Also, the Euphonix control surfaces you can see in the first couple of pictures (the 'mixer' desk type thing) is my new baby. I'll get some pics of when its all on and post again sometime as it looks much more impressive in the dark!!!

THE POWER CABLES ARE GASH AND LOOK DISGUSTING

Hi guys

Thought I'd post a few screens of my setup in my studio as I haven't before!

I don't quite know how to put it into words i love it, i think this is brilliant!

Afraid me and my friend did all the wood working (including the wooden rack which we made out of a bastardised Stagg rack stand haha!). We are doing the same for the live room in the next couple of days (after which a pro photographer is coming in to do photos for advertising). When we have new shots I'll post on here - always adding new gear when the money comes in although in my line of work its totally inconsistent!!!

Here's an older picture I found of the Live room (although acoustic treatment and removal of sofa has been done since!!):

My logitech £15 low profile key keyboard feels much nicer then my £50 G15 keyboard to type on

Its the low profile keys that makes all the diff. My g15 keyboard feels like a old dinosaur to type on in comparison

Low profile is great, the keys on my dinovo for notebooks are very nice to type on but perfect for gaming too as the bottom row are raised like a normal keyboard.

Wireless too but instant response and batteries that last around 12 months.

Cool, thanks for that mrk. Ill pass it on to my mate.

Is this the Logitech you're talking about? http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=KB-136-LG&groupid=702&catid=23&subcat=2

I was thinking about an Ultra-X, but from the pic on OCUK they don't have a full sized enter key?

That's because the picture is of a US layout keyboard, you'll get a UK layout if you order one, which does have a larger return key, and a short left shift key.

If I had a pound for every time someone said something like this about a keyboard picture I would be quite wealthy by now. It's amazing how many people don't realise it's just a picture of a US or international layout board. Logitech and Microsoft will tend to supply pictures of US layout keyboards, unsurprisingly, you'll only likely get a UK layout pictured if someone here takes the time to do it.

I'll order one tommorrow. I'm actually really surprised that someone doesn't just take the right picture, isn't there some legal thing that says the pictures provided have to be of the same model as the one you'll receive? Can't remember it exactly as it's a while since I studied any ecommerce law type stuff...

How is that logitech for gaming? Ive specec my mate a cheap build and am looking for a good but cheap KB. Cheers

I prefer it to my g15 also for gaming cos of the low profile keys, I cant see why gamers would prefer a normal keyed keyboard. All the keyboards I buy from now on are going to have low profile keys:D Its like going from tape to cd..lol:cool:
