Hi Chaps, I'm new to the forum but i thought i'd join as it seems to be packed with helpful topics. Heres a quick picture of my setup at the moment. Currently building a new rig to use at the end on my desk and planning on replacing the vile philips monitor im using atm lol

Yea its about 10 years old! Its keeping me going for now tho! haha planning on getting duel monitors after i finish my new build, Just need to buy the CPU and then decide on graphics cards and such. I dont like the layout but because of the size of the desk its the only way i can fit it all in

Yea its my room/office lol Yea ive literally got hundreds of movies!! My blue ray player has died on me so they're all useless at the minute, need to send it back to sony for repair its still under warranty thankfully. Been looking at some of the pictures in this thread and theres some awesome set ups i have to say!!

It would be a goodun to keep though, might not be worth a lot these days, but it'd be a great second monitor to go with the laptop.

LOL Naa its going the distance when i get the other two bud! Its horrible! Still dont know what size monitors to get tho, would you say 2x 24" would be two big for my desk? considering i will be getting another 2x24" for the right hand side aswel to go with the antec 1200 im building atm? Ive got the case in place on the far right but its bare just now but thats where it will be staying

You can literally never go too big.
you'll have 2x2x24" though? why do you need 2 systems with 2 monitors? I'd have one with 3 monitors so you can game across them.
I wanted to get another 28" but OCUK have stopped selling them now! No money anyway.

My girlfriend uses my computer a lot for uni work and i work on it too, aswel as use it for gaming. My second build will be purely for gaming, so far i have the 1200 case, rampage 2 mb, 2000MHz Dom GT 6gb and the Corsair 850w power supply. Its taking me a while to build due to the cost and im very impatiet haha

All my keyboards must have media keys, cos it would be like chopping my left arm off, if I ever bought one with no media keys. My £15 logitech keyboard is better then my logitech G15 in that sense too cos it has 1 extra button, a media player button, so it starts up my default player (winamp). I know you can set a 1 of the g15 buttons for the media player, but you hand needs to travel all the way to the left of the board to press it, On my £15 board the button is located top middle, so nice and easy to get to lol
