*** Desk and Room Gallery***

There's no stains and I've had coke/tea on it a few times. Built really well, I can quite easily sit/stand on it without it feeling unstable at all and I weigh nearly 14st, the main parts are around 2 inches thick whereas the door and drawer are about an inch thick.

Finish feels like wood rather than the plastic finish you normally have on desks but it's still nice and smooth.

Thanks Raikiri. Looks like ill get one of these then. Also the draws. On the IKEA website the draws are on the left hand side. They are on the right hand side of your desk. Can you have the option on which side to have it?

I think you can have them either side, probably best to email Ikea and make sure though.

Wheres the seat from ?

Nice setup, always liked yours raikiri :)

Cheers, I bought the chair from Viking Direct IIRC.

Is that chair as comfy as it looks Raikiri?
Could do with something that is relaxing to sit in, whilst looks good.

Sadly I can't really afford a Herman Miller Aeron :(

It's not bad, certainly better than the £50 one I had before from Argos. I doubt you would fine one that is any more comfortable for the price (£65).

Is that the 22" Daewoo screen?

Here's mine (again):

Where you get that chair, and how much is it:)

Hey, yup. They used to be ugly cupboards there, then i had an idea to knock them all down and use it for a pc area.

Down they come....

Put a cupboard in that fits just flush, same wood. Quite happy with it.

Some real nice setups in here, I cant wait til I move into new house in <2 weeks so I can get a decent desk/chair combo!

Byranlaycock those are TDL studio 20s? I got the 10s was tempted by them but a tad too big for my room :P

Finally replaced my old cheap and nasty 3watt oem speakers with the much superior 2.1 Logitech X-230 Speakers. Can't believe I put up with my old ones for so long and the difference in quality is amazing. While swapping my speakers over I decided to finally get around to re-setting up my old 21" DELL CRT monitor so I could dual screen with my 2007WFP Screen and think the setup works quite nice. The CRT is only set at 1280x1024 resolution for the time being as 1600x1200 is sort of overkill when my main screen is running 1680x1050 native and I only have a x1800xt 256mb until the lure of a 8800GTS finally gets the better of me.
