thanks for the comments pulse, yep its a render farm. The 2 main drivers behind the room were to have as little noise as possible (hence the cupboard setup) and to have as few cables on display (again hence the cupboard and the desk design to conceal as many cables as possible)..

this has given me new inspiration to make a new desk in my room, plans are as follows..

just one huge desk nearly 9 and 1/2ft long from wall to wall to house everything i need it to.

Just about to make new plans for my room and desk.

I sense that the coming weekends are going to be very busy. Pick and buy a TV, plan my bedroom out, move everything out, re-decorate, move things back in, wire everything up, set up the desk and TV setup. Then plan to buy an AMP / Reciever, DVD setup and suround sound setup The bank balance is going to take a huge hit in the coming weeks.

Haven't really changed anything in a while (can't even remember the last time I put pictures up in this thread) but here we go...

Black Lian-Li is my main rig (XP1600, 1gb RAM, 160 and 120gb HDDs, 9700 Pro, Audigy)
White case under the desk is my linux machine (P4 1.8, 512mb RAM, 2x 40gb HDDs, GF4 Ti)
And the white case under my bed is my webserver (P3 1GHz, 512mb RAM, 40gb HDD)

I never have my radiator on ever.. my 2 pc's and LCD keep my room nice and tidy, plus when its a bit hot i open my window fully and cold air gets sucked in the side of ma case
