Whats the load on it? Those temperatures sound surprising surely if I had a quad and this OCZ Vindicator cooler and 4x 80mm fans I should be fine as long as its a G0? yours is a G0 is it? Thats a lot cooler than I thought it would run at 3.8 especially since its a quad.
 
Its a G0 yes, current load is around 6-10% on all cores. Its also currently down at 3.6GHz not 3.8 :( 3.8-4.1GHz was on the vapochill, but the messy desk was just annoying me so much I had to put it away again.

Fortunately, the chip has only needed a 0.05v increase for this clock (3.6GHz).

Like I say, when I get a case I can hack up to house the vapo, then I'll be back up to 4GHz~ :)
 
Looks good and makes a purchase of a Q6600 even more tempting if they can reach those insane clocks with suck a small voltage increase.

So all that for a upto a 10% overclock :confused:

So in Crysis say, rather than at bad moment when you would get say 15 FPS, you get 16 instead?

** ***** The purple store..... OcUK should stock some chairs. It's a good chair but I don't know if they sell them anymore. It's comfortable but not too nice if you are going to be sitting down for a lot of late night gaming or long hours.
