Hey, no probs, theres a toolbox under my desk with a tape measure in it, got it from ikea, its great cos you can make the shelves on one side only and the pc fits in the side.

Its 150x76cm.

I dont sit with my head tilted, i sit face on to it, I tilt my mouse and keyboard so its just like sitting in front of it anyway, its either that or put the speakers at the side and thats more weird, i like the sound coming from the front so i get the stereo effect.

Wouldn't the speaker would be to your left when you're looking at the screen anyway? (unless you're keeping your head straight and looking at the screen from the corner of your eyes?!)

Im sitting straight in front of the speaker with my chair tilted to the side.

Theres obviously no easy way to make it perfect with the speaker ive got, but the sound off it is so good, its a waste to not use it.

I find it less oppressive having the screen in the corner than in the middle, dominating the table.

But if you sit face on to the screen and move your KB + Mouse then the sound will no longer be coming from the front... :p

I decided to buy a new desk for the new year, surprisngly Ikea actually delivered today, so the 1st day of a new year with a new desk. And yes I know I need to paint that bit of wall by the radiator, I had a new radiator fitted that was a little shorter than the old one and haven't got around to painting the wall yet.

And before anyone asks, the plastic 'really useful' box is what I use as a foot rest.

What keyboard is that?

It's a Noppoo Choc Chip Mini with Cherry MX Red key switches.

I just took another picture to repalce the first, as part of the reason I bought a new desk was that I wanted the room to move my headphone amp and DAC onto it, which I have now done. If anyone wants to know what they are, the DAC is a Cambridge Audio DacMagic and the amplifier is a Matrix M-Stage.
