*** Desk and Room Gallery***

Ive put so much time and effort into making the internals of my pc neat, why would I then go and stick it under the desk were I cant see it.

(not to mention the amount of dust it will suck in as the intakes for my case are on the bottom)

Hehe it all worked ther other way round for me.

The whole make the inside of your pc look like a work of art thing passed me by really, I've looked at ...probabably thousends of them on various forums but I never bothered to do it myself, same rason I never bothered with a windowed case. No point if you keep if under a desk shoved out of the way like I do.

I also made the mistake of having a case with an intake on the bottom once, now a consideration when buying a case for me if that it either doesn't have any holes in the bottom or if it does that there is a nice easily an clean way to block them off.

I dont consider it a mistake to have the intake at the bottom. Amazing cooling in this case.

Posted here quite a bit recently. But I think I have it arranged how I want it for now, there is still plenty to do here (things need replacing, painting, etc).

Hoping to move up into the attic when time allows, aint a lot of room in here now. Thats me up on the bed taking the photo and I've got a wardrobe directly to the right. Isn't going to be a lot of space left when I get the rather empty NZXT Phantom built and rocking 2x 27" monitors :D

I have the same laptop. :p

Man, I don't how you can use the PC with the keyboard off to the side like that all the time. I got my monitor before getting my PC built and was running it off the laptop. I used the big monitor as the primary for a couple weeks - literal pain in the neck.

The PC isnt currently used, I only got the keyboard around 3 weeks ago and I knew as I started typing I would have to move the location of it.

I'm either going to change the mounting location of the keyboard tray or ditch it and just use the top of the desk.

I see what you mean, but the problem with cases on desks for me is that you hear so much more noise from them when they are raised up on the desk and near your face, if you put them under the desk it blocks a lot of the noise. I've found the best way to silence a pc is to put it under the desk ...and then worry about sound proofing, quiet fans etc. I have both but if I put my case on the deskI do hear a good deal more noise from it and I hate that. Also it takes up all that desk space, and I actually use the space on mine for doing paper work aswell as using my computer.

Yep have to agree. Although my PC is pretty quiet, I still wouldn't want it on the desk.
