I was going to comment on the cold floor in the Winter but then I saw your view from the window and location ¬_¬
@rogan, You are right, its a bit of a compromise.. I turned my office room into a nursery last year and this was the next best location. A corner of our bedroom, which is luckily large enough to house the results of child proofing in the rest of the flat. 
i.e. everything that can be tampered with or thrown on the floor!
I like it as it just fits, I can open the balcony door and walk behind the desk to play with cables and stuff..
@Terk, the lamp is on as it was getting dusk, but apparently my camera has a good flash
@mrk, that floor IS cold in the winter! I need to wear socks around the house.. omg.. tough life

Update time for my space..
Samsung 305T and an HP N36L Micro server recently added..
just noticed the N36L is doubling up as a vacuum cleaner..and I forgot to fix the 305Ts DVI to the desk.. oh well.. nm
Can you get Ikea in Dubai or have you exported it?

I work for a certain telecommunications company who you will be very familiar with. Yes, we do have an office here!
Oh and I cant take credit for that night shot, a local guy took it who has much more talent than I do in that area. I just let him use my balcony.
