*** Desk and Room Gallery***

Yeah I can imagine. I built a shelf for my M-Audio Keystation 88, so it sits under my desk when not in use and I can barely tell it's there.

I think I spent about a tenner on some bits from B&Q and used a sheet of MDF I had laying around, cut to size to fit the keyboard.

New desk from Ikea, 3x ASUS vn247h monitors. Playing Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon. I still need to cable tidy though.

Excuse the picture quality, haven't got a proper camera any more, :(

The OCuk XXL desk mat is in the wash at the moment, so I'm using a basic Asus freebie mouse mat.

Very nice. Where did you get that wood from? How did you attach it to the wall? Where was the leg from?

I'm looking into replacing my glass Argos jobbie with a wooden fitted desk bolted to the wall, with a single support leg in the corner.

I'll be screwing through plasterboard so I know I'll need plasterboard fittings. However did you screw battens to the wall then screw the desk to the battens? What have you used for cable management?

Looks like hes just screwed battens into the wall (I've done the same thing for my desk), with the desk sitting on top with possibly metal brackets around the back in intervals, like:

attaching the desk to the battens. And then a support metal pole in the middle to stop it from buckling forward.
I've done exactly the same thing.

Some updates:

New old TV Panasonic 46" TH-46PZ81B (Brought from neighbour for £200, could not say no!)

New case, Lian Li PC-7HX with stealth drive cover and Lamptron FC2 Fan controller. Did buy a Bitfenix Recon but I did not like that in the slightest
Runs completely silent since I swapped my old OCZ power supply for a new 1000W XFX. I hear the faint buzzing of the monitor over the computer!

I really should get around to buying a new chair :p
Then next on the list is watercooling after my final A-Level exams and then save up for a new graphics card and monitor

I would use the HDTV as the main screen, nothing beats big screen gaming.

Removed all the LEDs from the front of my 650D, it's discreet now apart from the power LED and the "GTX 780" glowing logo inside. Desktop wallpaper is important too!
